Christine M. Greene, J.D
I have always had an interest in helping others. Toward that goal, I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and, subsequently, my J.D. from the Washington and Lee University School of Law. I am a licensed attorney who has practiced civil litigation, family, immigration and post-conviction law. I co-authored an article - published in New Directions for Child Development, 68 - which examines family dynamics, interactions, relationships and role structure. Additionally, I bring a genuine concern for others and a strong belief that people in conflict can truly empower themselves by seeking peaceful and mutually satisfying resolutions to their differences.

I have always wanted to help others. After I earned my B.A. in psychology from California State University of Sacramento, I spent nearly a decade working in social services as an advocate for people with developmental and physical disabilities. Wanting to further my advocacy skills I went to University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. In law school, I took a mediation class and it transformed me! I assisted teaching the mediation class the following year, and founded the Alternative Dispute Resolution Forum the year after that. As a licensed attorney, I worked as a public defender with juvenile delinquents and have civil, appellate and post-conviction experience. But my true passion is mediation. |
